PAWMETTO LIFELINE’S Spay/Neuter Clinic will spay female cats for a special rate of $ 20 through Feb. 28. Their aim is to provide more than 300 cat sterilizations during the “Beat the Heat” program sponsored by PetSmart Charities. Spaying and neutering is safe for kittens as young as 8-10 weeks old, according to the American Veterinary Medical Association.
