BEHIND every action, they say, there is a reason. For Mr Adekojo Aruna Elewi, the Chief Executive Office of Aristocrat Dry-Cleaning and Laundry Services, Oyo, Oyo State, it was the need to contribute to the reduction of unemployment of graduates in Nigeria that led him into dry-cleaning and laundry services five years ago.

The graduate of Insurance from the University of Belly, India with a wide experience in insurance, auto mobile and hospitality business, who described the business as very lucrative for any business and serious-minded person said: “Basically, my interest in ensuring that many Nigerian youths are gainfully employed led me into dry cleaning and laundry business, which has indeed contributed to the reduction of unemployment in the country, as we have employed over 50 graduates and many non-graduates within the last five years.”

Adekojo, one of the pioneer manufacturers of the defunct Mtel mobile and a major supplier of Ericson handset, noted that his passion for the business and empowerment of Nigerian youths, has taken the business so far within five years. “We have our headquarters in Oyo town, with five branches in Ibadan: Lead City Universty, Bodija, UI, Ring Road and Oluyole.”
